Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan signed 11 agreements to expand trade and economic cooperation as Uzbekistan’s President Shavkat Mirziyoyev reached Kyrgyzstan on 26th January 2023 to strengthen bilateral relations.

Uzbek’s leadership is true to the cause of serving humanity and working for regional peace and sustainable development.

It is truly a historic event as both nations demonstrated mutually acceptable solutions for border issues and focused on fields of trade, energy, agriculture, industrial cooperation, textile, minerals and technology sectors for socio-economic enhancement. Uzbekistan has reaffirmed its commitment to deepen its cooperation with neighbours. The strategic partnership is not only beneficial Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan but also to the other regional stakeholders for mutual connectivity goals.

Uzbekistan has been actively working to maintain regional connectivity and development through initiatives such as constructing transportation corridors, economic cooperation programs, and developing its own economy.

Practical cooperation between two nations will help to address global challenges such as poverty, climate change, and terrorism. The interactions significantly impact the stability and prosperity of both Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan. Both countries have to actively work on the construction of the railway “China-Kyrgyzstan-Uzbekistan” in the area of Transport and logistics,

Mutual beneficial cooperation is the main priority for the national interests between both Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan. I believe these interactions and visits revive Central Asia’s Regional Economic integration for a common goal, spirit and destiny.
