Karachi: Women should not only engage in business but also participate in investment to achieve financial success. Their active involvement and passion are crucial for their overall advancement. These sentiments were expressed by former MNA Shahida Rahmani Women Chamber of Commerce District South, during a seminar titled “Women Entrepreneurs” organized under the auspices of a Beach view club.
She emphasized that recognizing women’s rights and struggles is an important endeavor, which reinforces their determination. Women contribute significantly in societal, economic, and political spheres, showcasing their hard work and dedication, which can play a vital role in mitigating our economic challenges.
Founder of Women Chamber of Commerce South, Farida Qureshi, stated that it’s essential for women to participate in various fields just like men and to attain better education from graduation to masters. She affirmed her belief that women, through their capabilities, can contribute to societal and economic growth.
Our Senior Vice President, Shimmi Khan, also highlighted her relentless efforts and journey to prove that women can step into the business world through hard work. She demonstrated that they need to generate resources themselves for this purpose. At the conclusion of the event, Founder of Women Chamber of Commerce South, Farida Qureshi, and Senior Vice President District South, Shimmi Khan, distributed awards and certificates among the participants.
They also set up stalls offering jewelry, cosmetics, garments items, handicrafts, and other products for better business opportunities. This occasion was graced by the presence of brave officers from Sindh Police including SSP Naseem Ara Panhwar, Senior TV Artist Ghazala Jawed, Executive Officer Bisma Badar, Asim Khan, Basit, and other officials.
