Pakistan’s star Test cricketer Azhar Ali has been dismissed for zero in his last match. After the dismissal of Shaun Masood in the second innings against England, Azhar Ali came in to bat and was bowled by Leach.

Star batsman Azhar Ali announced his retirement before the start of the Karachi Test match. He scored 45 runs in the first innings and was bowled for zero in the second innings. Thus ended his 12-year career. 37-year-old Azhar Ali has represented Pakistan in 96 Test matches and was handed the captaincy of the national team in 2019 after Sarfaraz Ahmed’s dismissal, after which he captained 9 matches.

Under his leadership, Pakistan achieved series victories against Sri Lanka and Bangladesh, but his personal form declined with each passing day and he was constantly criticized for it. Azhar Ali also has the honor of representing Pakistan in 53 ODIs after being handed over the leadership of the national team after the 2015 World Cup. He captained the national team and reached an all-time worst ninth position in the ODI rankings.

Azhar Ali was also a member of the Pakistan ODI team that won the Champions Trophy in 2017 and played his last ODI in 2018.
