Elite Forum’s Riyadh Branch Holds Breast Cancer Awareness Session.

In observance of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, the Riyadh branch of Elite Forum hosted a special session to educate and empower women on breast cancer prevention and early detection. Organized by the club’s founder, Javeria Asad, and forum member Maliha Nadeem, the event drew a large turnout of women eager to learn more about this critical health issue.

Javeria Asad opened the event, introducing Elite Forum’s mission and emphasizing the importance of breast cancer awareness. Consultant Surgeon Dr. Shagufta Muneer, the event’s guest of honor, provided an in-depth presentation on recognizing early signs of breast cancer, the importance of routine check-ups, and methods for early detection. Dr. Muneer’s talk included a Q&A session, where attendees received personalized advice and guidance.

Among the prominent participants were social figure Asma Majeed, blogger-author Sarah Umar, calligraphy artist Sadia Zafar, and pharmacist Farina Fasih. Cancer survivors shared their inspiring journeys, highlighting resilience and the importance of early detection. Maliha Nadeem also led an art activity, allowing women to express their reflections on cancer prevention through creative expression.

The event concluded with honorary certificates presented to the speakers and gifts given to attendees. Participants praised the forum for organizing this impactful session and stressed the importance of continuing such educational initiatives.
