KFSH Blues won the first match of RCA 100-Ball Tournament by beating Khan CC by 59 runs.

In a thrilling cricket match, the KFSH Blues secured a comprehensive win over Khan CC, thanks to a formidable batting display and disciplined bowling attack. Electing to bat first, the KFSH Blues openers, Nasir Abbasi and Usman Khaled, set the tone with a rapid start.

Usman Khaled was the first to depart, contributing a quickfire 27 off just 13 balls. His dismissal brought Bilal Wani to the crease, who, along with Captain Nasir Abbasi, continued the aggressive approach.

Nasir Abbasi delivered a spectacular performance, scoring 88 runs off 39 balls, showcasing his leadership and batting prowess. Bilal Wani complemented his captain’s efforts with a brisk 47 off 19 balls. The heroics of the top order propelled the KFSH Blues to an imposing total of 219/4 in their allotted 100 balls.

In response, the Khan CC batsmen struggled to keep up with the required run rate. The KFSH Blues’ bowlers maintained consistent pressure, with Mateen Abbasi, Usman Khaled, and Usman Shani each taking two wickets. Abdul Rahim chipped in with one wicket, while Imtiaz Butt bowled economically but was unlucky not to claim a wicket.

Despite a valiant effort, Khan CC could only muster 160/8 in their 100 balls, falling short of the target by 59 runs.

Nasir Abbasi’s all-around performance earned him the well-deserved Man of the Match award, capping off a memorable victory for the KFSH Blues.
