Sonij Soldiers wins the title, defeats Mando Markhor by 2 wickets in final

Karachi (Sports Reporter) Sonija Soldiers wins IKhtri premier league season1 flood light T20 Cricket tournament title, on the occasion of Pakistan Day of 23rd march Mando Markhor lost by only two wickets in a thrilling final played at Asghar Ali Shah Cricket Stadium Karachi.
In the final organized by Muslim Khatri Community, President North Karachi Association of Trade Industries Faisal Moeez Khan, CEO Satrox Company Tahir Ayub Siddiqui, Razzaq Ali Jee, Sslam Gojaba, Samad Gojaba President Muslim Khatri Association Faqir Muhammad, Mahmood ul Hassan Ashrafi, Tournament Head Irfan Zahri Secretary Sadiq Khatri, Franchise owners Hanif Sghar, Raseed Ali Jee, Naeem Thatwi, Yasen Muneem, and Irman Coori, were distributed the prizes. After winning the toss in the final, Mando Markhor scored 130 runs for the loss of 7 wickets. Hamza Ghanchi scored 51 runs off 57 balls with the help of five fours and one while Saeed Hassan scored 44 off 41 balls with two fours and two sixes, From Sonija Soldier, Hannan Khan, Hammad Ayub and Habib Ullah took two wickets each.
In reply, winner Sonija Soldiers achieved the target and won the title of inaugural Khatri Premier League by scoring two wickets in 19.5 overs. Habib Ullah was the top scorer with an unbeaten 61 runs off 42 balls with the help of five sixes and two fours. Muhammad Afzal made 25 runs including two fours and a six. Saeed Hasan grabbed three wickets for only 8 runs while Kharan Khatri took 2-19.
Muhammad Muhammad Afzal (SS), was declared best player of the tournament ( Motorbike from Gojaba sweets while Skipper of Sonija Soldiers Ilyas Muneem was the best player of Khatri Community( Motor Bike from Al Hameed Garments) Ilyas Muneem was the best fielder and Allrounder Habib Ullah was declared man of the match(Rs 5000) member tournament committee Shahid Tao and Muhammad Nizam were also given a special award Motorbike form owner of Saghar sweets. and team owners of Sonia Soldiers Yaseen Muneem, Dawar Gladiators Naeem Thatwi and owner of Bhada Tigers Imran Choori.
Talking on the occasion, the special guest Faisal Moeez Khan, assured full cooperation with organizers in the future as well and termed the KPL. as a successful event.
