by: Rana Azeem TN Media News Riyadh: The King Salman Global Academy for the Arabic Language marked the graduation of the second batch of students from the Abjad Center for Arabic Language Teaching at a ceremony held in Riyadh. The event recognized 168 students from 43 countries, including four Pakistani students who received special awards for their academic excellence.
Professor Abdullah bin Saleh Al-Washmi, Secretary-General of the Academy, highlighted the Abjad Center’s role in delivering a comprehensive, immersive program based on the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR). The curriculum covers levels A1 to B2, comprising 640 hours of intensive language instruction, practical exercises, and cultural immersion through family hosting, partner sessions, and heritage site visits.
The program aims to empower non-native speakers with strong Arabic communication skills while deepening their understanding of Saudi culture. Students shared their transformative learning journeys during the ceremony, reflecting on their academic and cultural growth.
The Abjad Center remains a flagship initiative of the Academy’s mission to promote Arabic globally through innovative, culturally integrated education.
