Captain Umar Rana was back for this match after his long break and was asked to bat first by Pak Falcons captain Mr. Jadoon.
Batting first, Captain Umar Rana and Manzoor started off the innings with some boundaries but then Umar got out for 7 runs. In came Hisham and he along with Magnificent Manzoor put up a great powerplay score of 70 runs off 6 overs. They kept the scorecard ticking with boundaries at ease and doubles at will. Manzoor first brought up his fifty and then Mr. cool Hisham did next very comfortably.
Both were cruising when a slight loss of concentration by Manzoor got him out. He scored 78, Nadeem shah the legend came in after a boundary got out. Hisham kept the runs flowing from the other end who looked flawless as the wickets kept falling from the other end. He was incredibly amazing in the death smashing fours and sixes at will. He scored his highest T20 score. Since he joined Aces, he has transformed himself completely. He finally scored 154 n.o to take aces to 267/6.
Bilal started the second innings in high spirits getting both the openers out cheaply. His swing bowling was unplayable. Vicky was looking set when Abdullah Zaidi took a blinder at gully off Bilal. Wickets kept falling from the other end and Zaidi kept his amazing line and length getting one wicket along with last match’s star Sherazi who also got one wicket with a great leg spin spell. They were well supported by other bowlers who kept the scoring low. Pak falcon managed to score just 161/7 in their allotted 20 overs. Umar Rana was also amongst the wickets with new youngster Mohsin causing an amazing run-out.
Riyadh aces next meet Shuraim CC on Friday the 30th of September. They need to win all their remaining games to top the group.
