Pakistan International School, Riyadh, Honors Outstanding Students at Prestigious Ceremony.

Report:- Rana Azeem Riyadh: Pakistan International School, English Section, Riyadh, held a grand ceremony to recognize students and teachers for their exceptional achievements on an international level. The event also honored the memory of the late Naeem Akhtar, a beloved teacher, and underscored the significance of moral values, compassion, and positive thinking in achieving success.

The ceremony was attended by Begum Ayesha Ahmed, wife of the Pakistani Ambassador, His Excellency Ahmed Farooq, who served as the chief guest, along with distinguished figures such as Mr. Fakhar Jafri, Director of Examinations at the British Council, and Mr. Kamran Asghar, Head of Business Development at the British Council. Parents, teachers, and journalists also participated in the event.

The program commenced with the recitation and translation of the Holy Quran, followed by a welcome address from Principal Muhammad Tanveer. In his speech, Mr. Tanveer praised the hard work of both students and teachers and paid tribute to Naeem Akhtar, describing him as a mentor whose legacy continues to inspire. He emphasized that success is not just about academic excellence, but also about embodying good morals, compassion, and generosity.

The highlight of the ceremony was the award presentation. Top achievers in IGCSE, AS, and A2 examinations were recognized, with students like Muhammad Affan Kashif, Bushra Bint Khalid, and Ghania Jawad receiving global recognition for excelling in subjects like English and Mathematics. Other awardees included Saad Ahmed, Muhammad Rayan, and Lubaba Abdul Ghaffar, who earned top positions in Saudi Arabia and the Central Region.

The event featured cultural performances, including a national song and a thought-provoking drama. A touching video tribute to Naeem Akhtar was shown, and his family was presented with a commemorative shield in recognition of his contributions to the school.

Begum Ayesha Ahmed praised the students for their achievements and highlighted the importance of parents in their children’s education. She also shared an inspiring message on the power of positive thinking and behavior in achieving success.

The ceremony concluded with the presentation of commemorative shields to the chief guests and a moving rendition of the Pakistani national anthem, leaving attendees inspired and filled with pride.

The event celebrated not only academic excellence but also the values of hard work, compassion, and moral integrity, reinforcing the idea that true success extends beyond grades to making a positive impact on society.
