Prince Faisal Bin Abdulaziz Inaugurates FoodSphere, the First Riyadh Oases Center.

Riyadh, Saudi Arabia: His Highness Prince Faisal bin Abdulaziz bin Ayyaf, Mayor of Riyadh, officially inaugurated FoodSphere, the first of the Riyadh Oases centers. This new immersive edutainment and cultural center, located on Prince Mohammed bin Abdulaziz Street, is designed to offer an innovative experience focused on food, sustainability, and biodiversity.

FoodSphere is part of a collaboration between Riyadh Municipality and Riyadh Holding, aiming to blend education and entertainment in a space that celebrates Saudi Arabia’s culinary heritage while embracing future innovations. Spanning 11,000 square meters, FoodSphere features three key zones: the Apiary Exhibition, which highlights the role of bees in agriculture; the Dates, Coffee & Hospitality Exhibition, exploring Saudi coffee culture; and the Biosphere: The Future of Food, addressing food sustainability and agricultural innovations.

This launch marks the beginning of the Riyadh Oases project, a series of eight world-class centers that will be spread across the city, each dedicated to themes such as food, nature, space, and sports. The initiative is aligned with Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030, enhancing community engagement and enriching the cultural fabric of Riyadh.

FoodSphere, now open to the public, will operate from 10:00 AM – 10:00 PM on February 26 and 27 before transitioning to its official Ramadan hours. Tickets are available at riyadhoases.com/foodsphere.
