TN Media News Rawalpindi: Islamabad United started their PSL 10 campaign with a big win, beating Lahore Qalandars by 8 wickets on Friday night.
Chasing just 140, United reached the target easily with 14 balls left. Colin Munro led the chase with an unbeaten 59, while Salman Ali Agha added 41 not out. The two shared a match-winning 80-run stand.
Earlier, Lahore Qalandars were bowled out for 139 in 19.2 overs. Abdullah Shafique stood out with 66 runs, but the rest of the batters struggled.
Jason Holder starred with the ball for United, taking 4 wickets for 26 runs. Shadab Khan also picked up 3 wickets.
With this win, United top the table with two points, while Qalandars sit at the bottom.
