In RCA Sports Complex, in which players and fans of Cricket participated. Prizes of Al Kharj League were distributed after the Final match of Prince Abdulaziz Bin Naasir T20 Tournament.
In the final match, Ecric Store CC defeated Mrsool CC by 8 wickets. Trophies were given to Winner, Runners Up teams and individual prizes were awarded to top performers.
A special shield was presented to Mr. Ishfaq Bhat Joint Secretary RCA for his services for the RCA.
Earlier Batting first, Mrsool CC scored 248 runs. Najeeb scored 83 and Kamran Akram 54 runs. In pursuit of 249 runs, thanks to Saudi Arabia’s star batsman Abdul Waheed’s brilliant 92, Faisal Khan’s 74 not out and opener Ishaq’s 47 runs off just 14 balls, ECric Store achieved the required target for the loss of 2 wickets with 8 balls remaining. Abdul Waheed was declared Man of the Match for scoring 92 runs.
Usman Khalid was declared as the Best Batsman of the Tournament, Mohammed Saud Best Bowler, Ishaq Ahmed Best fielder and Iftikhar Ali Player of the Tournament.
The prize distribution ceremony started with the recitation of the Holy Quran by Mr. Abul Hasan. Senior vice President RCA Mr. Nasir Mehmood Abbasi took the responsibility of hosting the ceremony. The Chief Guest of this colorful ceremony was Saudi Arabia’s well-known all-rounder, former first-class cricketer and qualified coach Mr. Muhammad Nadeem Babar.
Other dignitaries included Mr. Rana Asif Masood, Pakistan Embassy School Sports Officer, Mr. Ishfaq Bhat RCA Joint Secretary, Mr. Atif Amin RCA Media Coordinator, Mr. Maqbool Senior RCA Umpire and Mr. Asif Butt Captain of Samacom CC.
Mr. Nadeem Babar thanked the distinguished guests and attendees while talking to the media. Nadeem Babar also paid tribute to the Patron-in-Chief of Riyadh Cricket Association Prince General Dr. Abdul Aziz Bin Nasser Bin Abdul Aziz Al Saud and said his efforts in Saudi Arabia will always be remembered in golden words.
Alhamdulillah under his leadership RCA has become the largest association of the country and is one of the pioneer associations in Saudi Arabia and is an affiliate member of Saudi Arabia Cricket Federation (SACF)
CEO RCA. Mr. Nadeem Babar said that first-class cricket will be starting soon in Saudi Arabia. With the support from SACF. RCA has been able to introduce RCA’s junior and senior cricketers, umpires and coaches to the international level. All this is the reward of the tireless efforts of the RCA management.
Former National Player of Saudi Arabia and Senior Vice President RCA Mr. Nasir Abbasi in his speech gave details about the RCA activities in Season 2022-2023.
On this occasion. tributes were paid to late RCA Patron/Chairman Mr. Muhammad Anwar Shaheed and Senior Vice President Abdul Karim Khan for their services for development of Cricket in the Kingdom.
