Riyadh Under the directions of HRH Prince Dr. General Abdulaziz bin Nasser bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the Patron-in-Chief of Saudi Arabia’s largest and most well-known Riyadh Cricket Association, on the occasion of the 92nd National Day of Saudi Arabia, exciting matches were held in 15 grounds of the RCA Sports Complex. A large number of cricket fans witnessed these exciting matches. Both the fans and players showed their love for Saudi Arabia by wearing green shirts and holding the Saudi national flags in their hands.
While addressing the event. Chief guest Air Commodore Naeem Akhtar, Principal of Nasiriyah School, said that we have a spiritual and faith relationship with Saudi Arabia. These matches are of great importance on the National Day of Saudi Arabia. The systematic way in which the teams and players are being encouraged is surely a great achievement.
Addressing the ceremony, a famous batsman known as Bradman of Gulf, former captain of Saudi Arabia’s cricket team and RCA (CEO) Muhammad Nadeem Babar thanked King Salman bin Abdulaziz and Crown Prince Muhammad bin Salman, along with Patron in Chief HRH Prince Abdulaziz bin Nasser bin Abdulaziz. He further mentioned that Riyadh Cricket Association is dedicated to providing quality cricket to the community. This is giving us an opportunity to promote cricket in Saudi Arabia and the number of people playing cricket is increasing day by day in the country.
Senior Vice President, Mr. Nasir Abbasi said that keeping in view Vision 2030 and implementing it, RCA is fully engaged in promoting cricket in Riyadh. He also paid tribute to late chairman and patron of Riyadh Cricket Association Mr. Muhammad Anwar and said that in his efforts for the promotion of cricket in Saudi Arabia will always be remembered.
Vice President Aashiq Mughal in his address thanked all the players present in the event who participated fully in this National Day event. RCA Media Coordinator Atif Amin congratulated King Salman bin Abdul Aziz, Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman and Pattern in Chief of Riyadh Cricket Association HRH Prince Abdulaziz bin Nasir bin Abdulaziz on the occasion of 92nd National Day, Samacom captain Asif Butt and others also spoke and said that Riyadh Cricket Association is doing unparalleled service to cricket in Riyadh and Saudi Arabia. Finally, the cake was cut for the 92nd National Day of Saudi Arabia.
