Saudi Arabia’s Strong Presence at EUROSATORY 2024

The Saudi pavilion features a broad coalition of government and private entities. Key participants include the Ministry of Investment through the Invest Saudi platform, the General Authority for Defense Development (GADD), and major Saudi companies specializing in military industries such as Saudi Arabian Military Industries (SAMI), Saudia Technic, Life Shield, Scopa Industries, and others.

This collaboration aims to showcase Saudi Arabia’s growing capabilities in the defense sector and underline the favorable investment environment. The pavilion serves as a platform to welcome international investors and highlight the Kingdom’s commitment to innovation, research, and localization within the military industry.

Driving Localization and Innovation in Military Industries

Saudi Arabia’s participation focuses on advancing its military industry strategy. This includes:

  • Promoting policies, legislation, and incentives that stimulate localization

  • Enhancing supply chains and investment opportunities

  • Displaying leading Saudi military products and technologies

  • Emphasizing joint efforts to empower the sector and meet national priorities

The Kingdom aims to localize more than 50% of its military industries by 2030. This strategic goal aligns with Saudi Vision 2030, which seeks to boost the economy by supporting research, technology transfer, and creating jobs for young Saudis.

Visionary Leadership and Sector Growth

The Saudi pavilion reflects the strong backing from the Kingdom’s leadership to increase strategic independence and develop domestic military capabilities. The focus on localization will contribute to building a vibrant economy while strengthening the military sector’s role within it.
