Saudi Based Pakistani Businessman Dr. Shamsher Takes Over KPK Warriors in Capital Premier League.

Report Rana Azeem (Riyadh): A significant milestone was achieved in the Capital Premier League (CPL) as the ownership of the KPK Warriors franchise was officially transferred to Dr. Shamsher, a prominent Saudi based Pakistani businessman. The signing ceremony, held in Saudi Arabia, was attended by key officials, businessmen, and media representatives.

The agreement was formalized between CPL Chairman Munir Ahmed Shad and Dr. Shamsher, marking a new chapter for the league. The event saw the presence of Pakistani Executive Forum officials, business leaders, and journalists.

Speaking at the ceremony, CPL Chairman Munir Ahmed Shad emphasized that the Capital Premier League aims to bridge the gap between overseas Pakistanis and their homeland.

“CPL is set to become a milestone in connecting the Pakistani diaspora with Pakistan,” CPL Chairman Munir Ahmed Shad stated. “This initiative by the Pakistani Executive Forum a global business network spanning 20 countries will not only promote cricket but also boost the economy by creating opportunities for young talent. Our vision is to nurture players who can eventually join the PSL and the national team.”

The new owner of KPK Warriors, Dr. Shamsher, expressed his enthusiasm for joining the CPL.

“I am honored to be part of this league and will work tirelessly to connect overseas Pakistanis with our beloved country,” he said. “Insha’Allah, we will make CPL a success and uncover hidden talent from across Pakistan, elevating this league to new heights.”

Other notable speakers at the event included Engineer Aamir Khan, Hussain Badshah, and Kamran Ashraf, who reiterated their support for the league’s mission.
