Shaheen wishes Warner good luck but no good ending before the beginning of Test tour

The Pakistan Men team have reached Australia to take part in a three-match Test series, starting from December 14th in Perth. The boys in green putting hard yards in the training session as they are aiming to win the series against the mighty Australia.

Talking in this regard, the T20 captain, Shaheen Shah Afridi said that the team is confident to beat Australia and are determined to give everything in order to do so.

“We have played against the recently announced Australia’s 14-member squad, and we are all up for this challenge,” he said. The left-arm pacer further lauded David Warner’s all-format career brilliance and wished that his last series against Pakistan hopefully won’t go in his favour.

“We would wish him [Warner] good luck but not hoping for a good end for David Warner in his last Test series against us,” Afridi said. Afridi further stated that the team is gearing up well for the “important series” of the Test championship.

“This is an important series for Pakistan as we are leading the World Test Championship’s point table at the moment,” he added. Pakistan will take on the Prime Minister’s XI in a four-day match at Manuka Oval in Canberra, starting from December 6.
