Riyadh aces played the fourth match of the first tournament organized by RCA and sponsored by Tera Systems against Shuraim CC and won by 8 wickets easily.
Shuraim won the toss and elected to bat first and started off really well scoring 42 off the first three overs. Mr. Cool Hisham got the first breakthrough by bowling an incredible over in the powerplay giving away just a run. He continued to bowl amazing in the subsequent over. Abdullah Sherazi the wizard was introduced soon after the powerplay and produced quick wickets at regular intervals. He was unplayable by the Shuraim batsmen & got four top wickets. Hisham, Manzoor and Adeel were amazing in the field taking great catches and ground fielding. Shuraim scored only 160 in their allotted 20 overs.
For Riyadh Aces, Both the legends Raja Ejaz and Nadeem Shah opened the innings and started off with a flyer. Nadeem Shah was looking good when he was given LBW. Raja Ejaz continued his vintage batting scoring boundaries at will. Ahmed Ali Jamal joined him and kept the score ticking getting boundaries as well. Ahmed also got out and then Magnificent Manzoor joined Raja Ejaz and both kept the flow of runs. Raja Ejaz scored a blistering 87 runs not out off just 33 balls (15 fours & 2 sixes) whereas Manzoor scored 38 not out off just 11 balls (7 fours & a six).
Riyadh aces chased the target in 11.3 overs and maintained a healthy run rate. They now must win their last league game vs Fonte Stars who are the leaders of the group to proceed to the Semifinals.
