Mustafa Kamal Stresses Unity and Development at Riyadh Event.

Report by Rana Azeem Riyadh: In a gathering hosted by Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) leaders Shamshad Ali Siddiqui and Hanif Babar, senior MQM leader and National Assembly member Mustafa Kamal addressed a large audience in the Saudi capital. The event was attended by representatives from political, social, literary, and religious communities, showcasing a diverse and united gathering of expatriates.

During his address, Mustafa Kamal emphasized his dedication to the development and prosperity of Pakistan, stating:
“I am not rich like other politicians, but perhaps Allah has chosen me to work for the country’s progress by struggling for you. Now, all political parties must unite to steer the nation toward development.”

Kamal highlighted the dire issues facing Karachi, a city with a population of 30 million, where two million households lack access to clean water and the tanker mafia holds sway. He described the innumerable challenges faced by Karachi’s citizens and stressed the urgency of providing basic rights and facilities.

He further lamented the widespread decay of Pakistan’s institutions, stating:
“All institutions of Pakistan have been badly destroyed. Along with political and democratic values, social morality has also eroded. It is essential for politicians and the entire nation to work sincerely to eliminate hatred and anarchy, paving the way for Pakistan’s development and prosperity.”

The event also featured speeches from prominent leaders, including Shamshad Ali Siddiqui, Hanif Babar, and Dr. Mujahid Qaim Khani. They praised the contributions of overseas Pakistanis, emphasizing their unwavering love for the homeland and their role in supporting the nation not just through foreign exchange but also by serving their compatriots in times of need.

The ceremony underscored the importance of unity and collective effort in addressing Pakistan’s challenges and building a brighter future for the country.
