An Advisory Session on NGOs Regulatory Compliance was conducted by the Directorate General Social Welfare & Bait-ul-Maal in collaboration with PITB and Community World Service Asia recently.
𝐃𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐫 𝐀𝐝𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐅𝐚𝐢𝐳 𝐀𝐡𝐦𝐞𝐝 𝐍𝐚𝐞𝐞𝐦 presided the session whereas 𝐃𝐞𝐩𝐮𝐭𝐲 𝐃𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐫 𝐍𝐆𝐎𝐬 𝐒𝐚𝐟𝐝𝐚𝐫 𝐀𝐛𝐛𝐚𝐬 and 𝐃𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐫 𝐏𝐈𝐓𝐁 𝐒𝐲𝐞𝐝 𝐍𝐚𝐲𝐲𝐞𝐫 𝐀𝐥𝐢 gave a comprehensive demonstration of the ‘NGOs Registration portal’ to the participants.
During the session, Deputy Directors and Social Welfare Officers of the Lahore Division were given hands-on training on web portals for ‘Registration of New NGOs’ and ‘Economic Affairs Division for International NGOs’.
The session aimed at acquainting the officers with the overall functions of the system including NGOs profiling and online processing of applications while highlighting the key features such as those related to the security and user experience.
𝐃𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐫 𝐆𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐥 𝐒𝐨𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐖𝐞𝐥𝐟𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐌𝐮𝐡𝐚𝐦𝐦𝐚𝐝 𝐀𝐡𝐦𝐚𝐝 appreciated the core team and distributed shields and certificates. He also applauded the efforts of PITB and directed to roll of the refresher sessions across all divisions of Punjab.
