Karachi (Sports Reporter) — Storm Warriors continued their impressive form in the AKG Premier League Season 2, securing their second consecutive victory with a commanding 7-wicket win over Friends United in the 5th match of the tournament at the historic Aga Khan Gymkhana ground.

Friends United won the toss and elected to bat first, posting a total of 127 runs for the loss of 7 wickets in their allotted 20 overs. Captain Murtaza Majid was the top scorer for his team, making 41 runs off 39 balls, which included 2 fours. Syed Ahsan Ullah contributed 22 runs, while Mohammad Ali chipped in with 20 runs.

For Storm Warriors, the bowlers were on top, with Mohammad Shoaib leading the way by claiming 2 wickets for just 15 runs. Rahim Ali and Shayan Ali also impressed, each taking 2 wickets, conceding 22 and 25 runs, respectively.

In reply, Storm Warriors chased down the target of 128 runs in just 18.4 overs, losing 3 wickets.
