Announcement Issued by Functional League Labour Wing Center Regarding Manzoor Janwari

TN Media News | Karachi:
In a key meeting at the Pakistan Muslim League Functional (PML-F) Karachi Zone office, Labour Wing leaders addressed concerns over false representation in Korangi District’s industrial area.

Manzoor Janwari, President of the Labour Wing Korangi District, and Shehzad Bugti, Information Secretary, met with Syed Wali Warsi, Karachi Zone President, to discuss challenges faced by local workers—especially in mills and factories.

Legitimacy Reaffirmed:

During the discussion, Janwari highlighted rising problems caused by individuals falsely claiming to represent the PML-F Labour Wing. These misrepresentations have reportedly disrupted efforts to solve genuine worker issues.

In response, Syed Wali Warsi reaffirmed that Manzoor Janwari is the only officially recognised representative for the Labour Wing in Korangi. His authority to speak and act on behalf of the workers was strongly endorsed.

Official Statement Issued:

Following the meeting, the Karachi Zone released an official statement to all stakeholders. It confirmed that only Janwari and his cabinet have the legal and organisational right to represent Korangi’s workers.

The statement was directed toward:

Factory and mill owners
Government bodies
Law enforcement agencies

It warned that any unauthorized person posing as a representative is committing fraud. Stakeholders were urged to report such incidents immediately to the Functional League House or the nearest police station.

Strengthening Worker Representation:

Shehzad Bugti, who endorsed the statement, emphasized the need for unity, clarity, and transparency in representing labour rights. The move aims to eliminate confusion and reinforce legitimate advocacy for workers in the Korangi industrial zone.

This development is expected to strengthen the Labour Wing’s position, ensuring that only authorised leaders address the concerns of local workers.
