TN Media News Karachi : In a significant meeting held at the Karachi Zone office, Manzoor Janwari, President of the Pakistan Muslim League Functional Labour Wing, Korangi District, and Shehzad Bugti, Information Secretary of the Labour Wing, Korangi District, engaged in a detailed discussion with Syed Wali Warsi, President of Karachi Zone. The conversation primarily focused on the prevailing issues faced by workers in the Korangi mills area.
During the visit, Manzoor Janwari shed light on the numerous challenges encountered by workers within the boundaries of Korangi District. A key topic of discussion was the growing concern over individuals who falsely claim to represent the Functional League, leading to confusion and complications in addressing workers’ issues. In response, Syed Wali Warsi reaffirmed that Manzoor Janwari remains the legitimate representative from their side, reinforcing his role as the official spokesperson for the Labour Wing.
As part of the meeting’s outcome, the Pakistan Muslim League Functional Labour Wing Karachi Zone issued a formal statement addressing all stakeholders, including factory and mill owners, as well as law enforcement agencies. The statement clarified that the exclusive authority to represent and resolve the issues of workers in the Korangi District rests solely with Manzoor Janwari and his cabinet.
The official communication further warned that any individual falsely claiming to represent the Functional League Labour Wing in Korangi District is engaging in fraudulent activity and deception. The statement urged all concerned parties to report such incidents promptly, either to the Functional League House or local law enforcement authorities.
The announcement was made in the presence of Shehzad Bugti, Information Secretary of the Labour Wing, Korangi District, who supported the statement and emphasized the need for unity and transparency in representing workers’ interests.
This move is expected to strengthen the Labour Wing’s position and clarify its role in addressing the concerns of workers in the Korangi mills area, ensuring that only legitimate representatives advocate on their behalf.
