Estonia and Saudi Arabia Forge Strategic Partnership to Boost SMEs and Drive Digital Innovation.

Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, November 2024: Estonia, led by Minister of Economy and Industry HE Erkki Keldo, has strengthened ties with Saudi Arabia through a high-level business delegation visit, aimed at boosting digital innovation, SME growth, and sustainable development. Held alongside the Biban 2024 Forum, the visit involved strategic meetings and agreements with Saudi officials and business leaders, marking a new phase of collaboration between the two nations.

Key outcomes included a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between Saudi’s Monsha’at and the Estonian Business and Innovation Agency, which will foster entrepreneurial partnerships, sharing Estonia’s expertise in digital transformation with Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 goals. Another agreement was signed with Estonian company Miltton CIO World to support Saudi SMEs through capacity-building and digitalization initiatives.

Highlighting Estonia’s global digital leadership, Minister Keldo emphasized the partnership as a step towards shared goals in economic growth and innovation. The visit underscored Estonia’s commitment to supporting Saudi Arabia’s ambitious tech-driven projects with its renowned digital infrastructure and e-governance capabilities.

With joint efforts from both public and private sectors, this partnership promises long-term growth, advancing both countries’ economic and technological objectives.
