Youth development under the AS Academy development program, number of players have been taking training, few players have now progressed to the next level in their careers to play cricket at a club levels, and one of the players is Fahad Munir.
Fahad Munir is 15 years old and has been progressing well over the last few years and playing in the senior league under the supervision of Aasif Sheikh, he is playing as a main bowler for AR Sports Blue along been a regular member of the matches organized for the youth.
With the recent two series of 6 matches, Fahad is leading scorer with 371 runs off 213 balls and having the SR of 174 and this also includes his best innings of 126.
Another young player of AS Academy is Saad Shakir who has been performing well with the ball as he is the leading wicket taker after playing 6 matches as he has bowled 17 overs giving 156 runs with Economy rate slightly high 9.18 but on a cement wicket this is acceptable. His bowling strike rate is 14.6 and looking good in the next few games.
Both are key players of AS Academy and working hard to develop more skills over the next few months to take part in bigger tournaments.
In the next upcoming match, both have high expectations to perform well in all departments as both are very good in all 3 departments and are the backbone for their team and well respected too.
