FPCCI’s Convener & Anchor Zehra Zahid has been instrumental in empowering underprivileged women in Pakistan. Through her Xee Learning initiative’s free certified beautician courses, she has enabled them to support themselves and their families and has recently trained & certified 10 more students. One more of Zehra Zahid’s recent students has achieved a remarkable milestone by securing a permanent job through her training program.
In the current economic climate, finding stable employment has been an uphill battle for many, making this achievement even more significant. The rigorous training provided by Zehra Zahid has equipped her students with the skills and confidence needed to navigate the challenging job market. This success story serves as a testament to the invaluable impact of her efforts in empowering women from disadvantaged backgrounds.
All this would not have been possible without the FPCCI Committee’s Deputy Convener, Mrs. Nighat Mehmood, who through her extreme support has led the way. Convener Zehra said that , “Also commendable are the efforts of Ms. Sumera Naz & Ms. Aiman Afaque, as without their constant efforts we would not have been able to place the candidate in a secure job. Also highly commendable is the support of H.R.H. Prince Miran Haider who has been a beacon of positivity & strength throughout.
As well as Mr. Saeed Ahmed Saeed must be thanked for his thorough steadfastness and dedication. Convener Zehra Zahid said , “ Furthermore we would like to thank Ms. Memoona Khurram,& Adv. Ahmad Kamal & Shehla Khowaja for their continuous support as well as all other members.” This year’s Excellence Award Certificates were given out to Ms. Aiman Afaque & Ms. Sumera Naz recently as well as Appreciation Certificates to all the members for their dedication. In 2020, Zehra introduced international-standard Covid safety measures for beauty parlors, earning high praise from various authorities.
Zehra Zahid continues her work in training and certifying aspiring females. Additionally, she addresses issues like hazardous skincare ingredients and enrollment challenges for SME business women. Her contributions have made a significant impact on the beauty industry and women entrepreneurs in Pakistan. ‘ Give someone a fish and you feed them for a day, teach someone to fish and you have fed them for a lifetime’.
The Convener of the Committee Zehra Zahid & Deputy Convener Nighat Mehmood aim at executing their action plans and hope to be as successful as in the previous years. Ms. Zehra Zahid has been heading the committee of Women’s Style Beauty & SkinCare at FPCCI , Federation of Pakistan Chamber of Commerce & Industry as Convener in 2020, 2022 and currently in 2023.
