Saudi Arabia Launches Landmark Biotechnology Event

Riyadh will host the first edition of BIO Middle East in May 2026. The event will run from May 11–13 at the Riyadh Exhibition and Convention Centre, alongside CPHI Middle East.

This marks a historic step for Saudi Arabia. The Kingdom aims to become a global hub for biotechnology and life sciences innovation, supporting its Vision 2030 and the National Biotech Strategy.

A Global Platform for Innovation

BIO Middle East is part of the world-famous BIO series of events. For the first time, this platform will extend to the Middle East.

The event will include:

  • Company showcases of cutting-edge innovations
  • Specialized workshops and training sessions
  • Networking opportunities for investors, scientists, and entrepreneurs

His Excellency Fahad bin Abdulrahman Aljalajel, Minister of Health, said:
