The talented Pakistani student Saroj, who won the first position in the Saudi table tennis competitions, was awarded an appreciation Shield by the Embassy of Pakistan in Riyadh. Pakistani student Saroj Sajid, who won the gold medal in the table tennis competitions of the Saudi Games in Saudi Arabia, was awarded an honorary shield by the Embassy of Pakistan.
His Excellency Amir Khurram Rathore, Ambassador of the Embassy of Pakistan in Riyadh, congratulated Saroj Sajid on winning the gold medal in the Saudi Games and said that we are proud that Saroj Sajid has set an example by shining the name of Pakistan and we are proud of her. On this occasion, Ambassador of Pakistan Amir Khurram Rathore said that we are deeply grateful to the Saudi government for providing ample opportunities to Pakistani students in education as well as in the field of sports. It was said that the success of Saroj Sajid is the success of all of us and as Pakistan, we are proud of our children and hope that our children will continue to shine the name of our country abroad in the same way.
Ambassador also directed to pay more attention to girls’ educational activities as well as sports in the ten existing Pakistani schools in Saudi Arabia. Pakistan holds a prominent position in the field of sports. In Saudi Arabia, a large number of Pakistani players are participating in sports successfully and are honing their skills along with Saudi players. And now she has her eyes on Asia Cup and the Olympics, she added that she is participating in table tennis on behalf of the Pakistan Army and will participate in international competitions with complete preparation. Saroj Sajid thanked her parents. She said that the reason for her success is the tireless work and love of his parents. Saroj’s father and mother emphasized taking special care of children’s physical health along with their education and training.
Saroj Sajid’s parents said that thanks be to Allah that their daughter made her country famous and won the gold medal in the tournament.
