Pakistan defeated Australia by 6 wickets and to level the series 1-1 and at one time that it looked over for Pakistan when they piled a massive 348/8 on barad with Ben McDermott’s Maiden ODI 104.

Centuries by Imam-ul-Haq the second in the ODI against the Australian speaks a lot about his character and how he has made a comeback after not performing in the National Champion and PSL but here when given the chance, he made sure he proves to be in the top.

Babar Azam, after been criticized in the first ODI for not finishing the game but this time, he was in great touch and made sure that him and Inam cross the line to level the series and we go into the decider tomorrow.

Babar Azam said “The plan was to bat positively and bat in partnerships. When there are wickets in hand, it becomes easy towards the end and there won’t be any pressure of the required rate … This is my hometown and it is a proud moment for me and the team. The overall effort from the team is very pleasing”.

Aaron Finch said: “I think that opening partnership set the foundation for Pakistan and Babar came in and played brilliantly … I thought we did quite well with the ball and when Pakistan took the risks, it came off and it can happen in ODI cricket.”

Other then the century makers, Babar and Imam, Khushdil ensured Pakistan doesn’t suffer another loss as he made sure they cross the line when they lost Mohammed Rizwan.  It was Khushdil who smashed the balls towards the end of the game, when Pakistan lost few quick wickets.

We have the series 1-1 and decider tomorrow, which means that Pakistan and Australia will come out fired up for the final match before we move to the only 1 T20I which will be played in Ramadan.
