Riyadh, June 17, 2022 – The Riyadh Cricket Association (RCA) concluded its thrilling 100-Ball Championship finals, marking a successful season across three competitive regional leagues. The tournament not only showcased local talent but also reinforced RCA’s ongoing dedication to promoting cricket in Saudi Arabia.
RCA’s Legacy in Saudi Cricket:
Established in 1980, the Riyadh Cricket Association has played a central role in expanding cricket throughout the Central Region. Operating under the leadership of CEO Muhammad Nadeem Babar, a former Saudi national team captain, and supported by Patron-in-Chief HRH General Dr. Prince Abdulaziz Bin Nasser Bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, RCA has grown into a key institution for cricket development.
Sinmar CC Dominates Huraymala League Final:
Sinmar CC delivered a dominant performance in the Huraymala League final against AR Sports Green.
After winning the toss, Captain Hazim Hamza elected to bat.
The team posted an astonishing 287/3 in 100 balls.
Imthiyas smashed 120 runs off just 32 balls, with his century coming in just 24 deliveries—a new RCA record.
Shameel added valuable runs with 56 off 25 balls.
In reply, AR Sports Green was all out for 140.
Sinmar CC secured a convincing 147-run victory, and Imthiyas was named Man of the Match.
Banglar Tigers Secure Hayer League Title:
The Hayer League final saw Banglar Tigers face Almarai Cheese CC in another high-energy match.
Batting first, Banglar Tigers posted 178/7, led by Mithun Bishwas, who scored 66 off 40 balls.
Zulqarnain starred with the ball, taking 3 wickets for 27 runs.
Almarai Cheese CC put up a fight but finished at 171/5.
Adnan Abbasi top-scored with 38 runs.
Mithun Bishwas was awarded Player of the Match for his match-winning knock.
Kohat CC Clinches Diriyah League Final:
In the Diriyah League final, Kohat CC went head-to-head with Zaitoon CC.
Kohat batted first and posted 197/5, with Zeeshan scoring 77 and Faraz adding 48.
Zaitoon CC’s chase ended at 140/7, with Syed Abdel Azeez contributing 54 runs.
Faraz shined with both bat and ball, claiming four wickets and earning the Player of the Match award.
