The Wallan Trading Company racing team, led by Saudi drivers Mirhan Al-Baz and Faridah Abdullah, claimed first place in the 4-cylinder AWD4 drive category at Rally Jameel 2024. Their victory also secured them the 24th spot in the overall rankings of the prestigious event.
Rally Jameel 2024: Empowering Women in Motorsports
Rally Jameel 2024 is the first women-only desert navigation rally in Saudi Arabia and the Arab world. The event, held from March 4 to 8, saw participation from 55 teams and 110 female drivers representing 37 countries.
The race covered a grueling 1,600-kilometer course, challenging the drivers with diverse terrains. From sand and rocks to stones and mud, the rally route passed through Ha’il, AlUla, Umluj, Yanbu, and King Abdullah Economic City (KAEC) in Rabigh.
