On 25th September 2022, Ms. Maryam Raza, Deputy Director, PRCCSF participated as a speaker in the “7TH INTERNATIONAL CONGRESS ON LIFE, SOCIAL, HEALTH AND SPORTS SCIENCES IN A CHANGING WORLD’’. The congress was organized by BZT Academy, Turkey and successfully managed by Mr. Baha Ahmet Yilmaz, CEO, BZT Academy. A large number of international countries participated in the online congress. Global scholars shared their innovative research on different topics.

Ms. Maryam Raza, Deputy Director, PRCCSF gave her speech on  ’’Importance of Soft Power Diplomacy and Intercultural Renaissance in Present Era’’ by taking China as a case study. She stated that Diplomacy is the engine for a society’s soft power, and how it can be portrayed is defined by certain key characteristics. Economic projects along with innovative programs reflect that it is the best time for collective development and intercultural renaissance. She explained that while the world is undergoing the most profound and unprecedented changes in a century, there are many new grand ideas that have emerged in international relations. A profound comparative study of diverse civilizations in world history depicts that no power or civilization in the past five thousand years can reach the achievement of ‘’Soft Power’’, which makes the People’s Republic of China, the most respected and admired country in the world.

Ms. Raza stated that China has decoded important symbols of certain dogmas and myths, which were obstacles to interregional connectivity. With a history dating back more than 5,000 years, the country has made an indelible contribution to human civilization. In the 21st century, the absolute rise of China is the greatest ‘game changer’ as compared to any other evolutionary phenomenon. She suggested that this can be understood with a comprehensive cultural study and Chinese social transformation/policies. She also anticipated that China’s soft power code will stimulate cooperation among countries with a shared forward-looking spirit and establish cultural linkages.
