Students from the Institute of Business Administration (IBA) recently took part in a study tour to Manghopir Dargha and Abdullah Shah Ghazi Shrine, led by Professor Quratulain Faheem. The tour aimed to provide students with insights into the historical and cultural significance of these spiritual sites.
At Manghopir Dargha, the group was welcomed by Syed Muhammad Saeed, Manager of the shrine, and Haji Nawaz Ali Brohi, Chairman of the Town Municipal Corporation. Brohi discussed efforts to preserve the dargha, including renovation plans submitted to local authorities. He also highlighted the importance of restoring the Manghopir Crocodile Pond and the support from PPP Women’s Wing President Faryal Talpur.
The delegation then visited the Abdullah Shah Ghazi Shrine, where they were received by Penhoon Deplai Khan, Manager of the Department of Auqaf. Professor Faheem emphasized the educational value of the tour, focusing on spiritual healing traditions, rituals, and the significance of Sufi saints.
The Department of Auqaf presented chaders to the IBA faculty as a gesture of hospitality, making the experience both educational and memorable for the participants.
