Karachi (Sports Reporter): The Pakistan Physical Disability Cricket Association (PPDCA), recognized by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), has entered into a strategic partnership with the leading technology firm, Gateways Software Development Company, to enhance and market its social media presence. The agreement was formalized yesterday during a ceremony held at the PPDCA headquarters in Karachi.
The signing ceremony saw PPDCA President Imran Balwani and Gateways Software Development Company CEO Muhammad Farqan officially seal the deal. Also present were PPDCA General Secretary Amiruddin Ansari, Director Imtiaz Iqbal, and Media Manager Muhammad Nizam, marking a significant milestone for the association.
CEO Muhammad Farqan expressed his enthusiasm for the partnership, stating, “PPDCA has provided an outstanding platform for physically disabled cricketers, showcasing their talents on a global stage. However, there is still much work to be done, particularly in securing sponsorships. Gateways is committed to utilizing all our resources to enhance PPDCA’s outreach and visibility.”
In his remarks, PPDCA President Imran Balwani warmly welcomed CEO Muhammad Farqan and acknowledged the importance of the collaboration. “The association has made considerable progress on its own, but the lack of adequate publicity and marketing has been a challenge. By joining forces with Gateways, we are confident that this partnership will address these gaps, allowing us to better advocate for the rights and recognition of our physically disabled cricketers.”
This partnership is expected to significantly bolster PPDCA’s digital presence, helping to attract more sponsors and raise awareness about the remarkable achievements of Pakistan’s physically disabled cricketers.
