PRC bids farewell to Convener Syed Ehsan ul Haque. Members extended best wishes to Ehsanul Haque on returning home.

Jeddah-Pakistan Repatriation Council (PRC) last evening held a farewell party in honour of its convener Syed Ehsan ul Haq who is leaving the Kingdom shorty after serving more than 40 years. Newly appointed vice president PRC Shams Uddin Altaf Malik welcomed and thanked Ehsan ul Haque on his appointment and said Syed Ehsan’s absence would be felt in the community long. He praised his selfless services for the repatriation and rehabilitation of Stranded Pakistani in Bangladesh.
Speaking on occasion Syed Ehsan ul Haq thanks all the participants. He highlighted PRC proposal for the Rehabilitation of Pakistanis Stranded in Bangladesh for over half a century. He said the proposal was presented in Al-Harithy hotel, Jeddah on 23rd March 1998 which was presided by Pakistan’s Ex-Ambassador Khaled Mahmood.
The chief guest was Dr. Abdullah Omar Nasseef (Hilal-e-Pakistan ), Ex-Vice President of Saudi Majlis-e Shura, Ex-Secretary General of Muslim World League ( MWL ); President of Motamar-e- Alam-e-Islami. Prominent guests and speakers included Khaled Al-Maeena ex- Editor in chief Arab News, Mr. Mohammad Mukhtar Al-Faal ex-Editor in Chief Urdu News, Mr. Rana Abdul Baqi ex- Consul Welfare at Pakistani Consulate, Jeddah. The proposal is based on Employment as a resource for their repatriation and rehabilitation.
Syed Musarrat Khalil conducted the program, others who supported the proposal included Zamurrad Khan Saifi Press & Publication secretary, Executive members Engr. Syed Naseeruddin, Engr. Syed Aslam Tanweer, Engr. Syed Wasi Imam and Syed Manzar Hassan.
Attendees prayed for Pakistan and extended best wishes to Syed Ehsanul Haque on departure from Kingdom to Pakistan.
