Dell Opens First Fulfillment Center in Saudi Arabia to Boost Local Tech Infrastructure

Major Investment in Dammam: Dell Technologies has officially opened its first merge and fulfillment center in Saudi Arabia. Located in Dammam, the facility marks a major milestone in the company’s expansion across the Kingdom. It is designed to handle up to 600,000 units annually, supporting all Dell product lines.

This is Dell’s fifth such facility in the Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) region.

Advanced Capabilities and Faster Delivery: The Dammam center includes a second-touch manufacturing section. Here, servers can be customized based on customer needs, helping to reduce delivery times and boost satisfaction.

Additionally, Dell has relocated its Flat Panel Monitor Hub to Dammam. As a result, local customers can now receive shipments within two days, significantly improving delivery speed.

Supporting Vision 2030 and Economic Growth: The new hub directly supports Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030. It aims to drive economic diversification, promote innovation, and reduce reliance on imports.

By establishing this facility, Dell is expected to:
Create new jobs in logistics, technical services, and manufacturing
Train local talent
Encourage innovation within the tech ecosystem

A significant portion of the workforce at the center will be Saudi nationals.

Official Praise and Corporate Commitment: H.E. Eng. Haytham Alohali, Vice Minister of Communications and Information Technology, welcomed Dell’s investment. He emphasized that the center would enhance Saudi Arabia’s manufacturing and logistics capabilities.

Adrian McDonald, President of Dell Technologies EMEA, also shared his views.
“We are proud to support Saudi Arabia’s digital economy and Vision 2030 through infrastructure and talent development,” he said.

Strengthening Local Partnerships

The Dammam hub will work closely with local partners to improve product availability and customer service. This collaboration is expected to strengthen Saudi Arabia’s growing digital economy.

Dell’s new facility reflects a long-term commitment to the Kingdom’s technological transformation and economic advancement.
