Zaman Khan makes headline in Big Bash League

Featuring for the Sydney Thunder in the Big Bash League, Zaman Khan was on song as he delivered a match-winning spell against the Melbourne Stars on Saturday.

Khan took three crucial wickets for his side, including the prized scalp of Australian star Glenn Maxwell.
The right-arm pacer bowled a searing yorker that ripped through the stumps of the majestic batsman, and consequently, Zaman was on cloud nine.

Nevertheless, Zaman did not stop at just one wicket, as he also dismissed Hilton Cartwright at 22 and Jonathan Merlo at an individual score of 2.

The elite spell of Zaman restricted the Stars to a modest total of 172. The set target was chased down by the Thunder with 10 balls to spare.

For his phenomenal spell, Zaman was adjudged the player of the match.

Moreover, the pacer has now collected 62 wickets this year, surpassing leg-spinner Shadab Khan, who had taken 61 wickets last year. Former Pakistan all-rounder Azhar Mahmood, ex-pacer Wahab Riaz, and Haris Rauf are third on this list with 60 wickets.
