Celebrating Independence with Unity

The Saudi Pakistani Professionals Community (SPPC) organized a series of “Spirit of Freedom” meetups in Riyadh, Jeddah, and Al-Khobar to mark Pakistan’s Independence Day.

More than 450 Pakistani professionals attended the events, showcasing their patriotism and reaffirming their commitment to unity, networking, and professional development.

Purpose and Significance

The initiative aimed to:

  • Strengthen professional networking.

  • Create new employment opportunities.

  • Foster solidarity among Pakistani professionals in Saudi Arabia.

SPPC continues to provide a strong platform for community members to collaborate, grow, and support each other.

Hosting Across Three Cities

Each city hosted memorable gatherings, managed by SPPC leadership teams:

  • Riyadh: Led by SPPC CRC President Hammad Siddiqui and his team.

  • Jeddah: Organized by SPPC WRC Vice President Ehtesham Hanif with community members.

  • Al-Khobar: Managed by SPPC ERC President Dr. Umair Khalid and his team.

Participation of Dignitaries

The meetups were attended by diplomatic officials and business leaders, adding prestige to the celebrations:

  • Riyadh: Najam Nawaz Saqib (CWA) and Consular Haseeb Sultan.

  • Al-Khobar: Ms. Jannat Hussain Nekokara (CWA) and Sayed Aziz (CWA).

  • Jeddah: Chaudhry Shafqat, President of the Investment Forum, and Fahad Khan, Trade & Development Officer.

Activities and Collaborations

Highlights of the events included:

  • Professional networking sessions.

  • Job support booths to guide professionals.

  • Signing of an MoU with Voice of Startups Pakistan, creating pathways for future collaborations and job opportunities.

Founder’s Message

In his Independence Day message, SPPC Founder Faysal A. Ghauri emphasized:

“Pakistanis must support each other — that is the core message of SPPC.”

He reiterated that SPPC is a non-profit, volunteer-driven organization connecting more than 4,000 Pakistani professionals in Saudi Arabia to promote professional growth, mutual cooperation, and social welfare.

A Symbol of Unity and Progress

The “Spirit of Freedom” celebrations demonstrated the resilience, unity, and aspirations of the Pakistani community in Saudi Arabia. The participants renewed their pledge of loyalty to Pakistan while looking toward a brighter future.

With SPPC Elevate 2025 scheduled for November, the momentum from the “Rooh-e-Azadi” initiative is expected to further expand opportunities for Pakistani startups, professionals, and the wider community in Saudi Arabia.
