Riyadh, Saudi Arabia: Aljomaih Automotive Company, the official distributor of GAC Motor in the Kingdom, has unveiled the 2026 GS8 TRAVELLER—an advanced SUV designed for performance and adventure. The launch event took place at Riyadh’s Digital City, attended by company executives, distributors, media, and influencers.
Building on the strong legacy of the GS8 series, the new TRAVELLER variant features a 2.0-liter turbocharged engine producing 248 horsepower and 400 Nm of torque, an 8-speed Aisin transmission, and a sixth-generation BorgWarner 4WD system. It offers six driving modes tailored to diverse terrains, from urban commutes to off-road challenges.
Equipped with cutting-edge features like a 540-degree surround view, AVDC intelligent driving system, adaptive cruise control, and AR head-up display, the GS8 TRAVELLER prioritizes both comfort and control. The interior includes seven leather seats, ambient lighting, panoramic sunroof, and an 8-speaker ALPINE audio system.
Safety is paramount, with 10 airbags and comprehensive driver assistance systems including blind-spot monitoring, lane-keeping assist, emergency braking, and traffic jam support.
