Kashmir Issue Must Not Be Ignored, Says Former JKCO Chairman:

JEDDAH – Sardar Waqas Inayat, former Chairman of the Jammu & Kashmir Community Overseas (JKCO), has called on the international community to honor its moral and legal responsibilities toward the people of Kashmir. He urged global powers to support the right to self-determination as mandated by United Nations resolutions.

Appeal for Global Justice:

Speaking at a public event in Jeddah, Inayat emphasized that Kashmir remains an internationally recognized dispute. He condemned ongoing human rights violations in Indian-administered Kashmir and criticized the silence of global institutions.

“The time has come for the UN and major world powers to take sincere and concrete steps,” he stated. “Without action, peace in South Asia will remain out of reach.”

Support for Pakistan Armed Forces:

Inayat also praised the Pakistan Armed Forces for their valor in defending the country. He highlighted their recent responses to external threats and noted how their sacrifices have united the nation.

“Pakistan’s defense is in strong hands,” he said. “Our soldiers’ patriotism and courage will be honored for generations.”

Call for National Unity:

He further reiterated that Pakistan’s sovereignty is non-negotiable, emphasizing that the entire nation stands behind its military. Any hostile agenda, he declared, will be firmly resisted.

Message to the Diaspora and the World:

Sardar Waqas Inayat’s address served as a powerful reminder of the Kashmiri struggle for freedom. His words echoed the continued solidarity of Pakistanis worldwide with the people of Kashmir and reinforced the call for international accountability.
