Held in partnership with Saudi Arabia’s Architecture and Design Commission, the event signifies a major milestone in the nation’s cultural evolution.
The fair presents an impressive mix of global design brands and visionary Saudi talent. Highlights include installations by Cosentino, Lasvit, and Natuzzi Italia, along with collaborative showcases from Saudi designers under the “Designed in Saudi” initiative. Collectible design also takes center stage, featuring limited-edition works from global studios and regional artists.
Dr. Sumayah Al-Solaiman, CEO of the Architecture and Design Commission, noted the fair’s role in fostering a design culture rooted in Saudi identity while engaging with global trends.
Immersive experiences, including a BMW Saudi Arabia lounge and a multi-sensory culinary showcase by Bompas & Parr, complement the exhibitions. The event also features interactive workshops and a thought-leadership platform, The Forum, offering daily talks on design’s evolving role in Saudi Arabia’s economy and culture.
Downtown Design Riyadh is poised to elevate the Kingdom’s design narrative and position Riyadh as a leading hub for innovation and creativity on the global stage.
