RIYADH: Saudi Arabia’s capital is set to host the first edition of Downtown Design Riyadh from 20 to 23 May 2025 in the creative JAX District, marking a milestone in the Kingdom’s design and cultural evolution.
Organized in partnership with the Ministry of Culture’s Architecture and Design Commission, the event will spotlight high-end contemporary design from global brands alongside regional creative talent. Exhibitors include renowned names such as Huda Lighting, Saint Louis, Natuzzi, and Visionnaire.
The fair will feature a rich program of limited-edition showcases, panel talks, interactive workshops, and immersive installations. Highlights include the ‘Designed in Saudi’ platform and unique design experiences like glow-in-the-dark culinary collaborations by Bompas & Parr, plus displays from international designers such as Thomas Heatherwick and Sabine Marcelis.
Special exhibitions include Cosentino’s “Moon Vignettes,” Lasvit’s “Splash,” and Natuzzi’s regional debut of the “Amama” collection. The event will also offer a dedicated high-end design section and a curated forum on sustainability, architecture, and innovation.
Open to the public from 21 May, with a VIP preview on 20 May, Downtown Design Riyadh promises to be a defining cultural and creative event in Saudi Arabia’s growing design landscape.
