Mega Contracts and Bold Visions Highlight Day Two of Saudi Giga Projects Summit.

by: TN Media Riyadh, Saudi Arabia: Day two of the MEED Saudi Giga Projects Summit 2025 showcased the Kingdom’s accelerating transformation under Vision 2030, with landmark announcements, record-breaking infrastructure, and an emphasis on innovation and private investment.

Held at The Venue by ROSHN Group, the summit featured over 70 speakers addressing Saudi Arabia’s urban and economic development. Highlights included Diriyah Company’s revelation of upcoming fit-out contracts worth SR20 billion ($5.3 billion), adding to the $20 billion in construction contracts already awarded as part of its $63 billion masterplan.

The Sports Boulevard Foundation also stole the spotlight by confirming the design completion of the 130-metre-tall Global Sports Tower, which will feature the world’s tallest indoor climbing wall and become a key element of the world’s longest linear park in Riyadh.

Panels on smart infrastructure underscored the integration of sustainability and technology in future cities, while Nemetschek Group’s workshop focused on AI, digital twins, and collaborative design.

The National Center for Privatization revealed that upcoming public-private partnership opportunities are valued at approximately $150 billion, reinforcing private sector engagement in Saudi Arabia’s giga projects.

As the summit nears its conclusion, the focus shifts to infrastructure, water scalability, and preparing for global events such as the 2029 Asian Winter Games, Riyadh Expo 2030, and the FIFA World Cup 2034.
