JD Logistics, the logistics arm of China’s e-commerce giant JD.com, has officially launched JoyExpress in Saudi Arabia. The new self-operated express delivery service offers same-day and next-day delivery across most parts of the Kingdom.
Fast, Reliable, and Customer-Focused: JoyExpress is powered by a dedicated team of in-house drivers, couriers, and warehouse professionals. The service features cash-on-delivery, scheduled delivery, reverse pickups, and temporary return storage. It also supports cross-border shipping, customs clearance, and complete logistics solutions for enterprise clients.
Aligned with Vision 2030: This launch supports Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 by enhancing logistics capabilities and generating local employment. “We welcome JD’s advanced express services that improve quality and support job creation,” said Rayan Albakri, Deputy Minister for Logistics Services.
Expanding E-Commerce Capabilities: Charlie Peng, Head of Middle East at JD Logistics, stated that JoyExpress will support sectors such as electronics, fashion, and fresh goods. The service also provides delivery and installation for large items, helping meet growing e-commerce demands in the region.
Strengthening Regional Leadership: With JoyExpress, JD Logistics now manages a fully self-operated logistics chain in the Middle East. This move positions Saudi Arabia as a regional logistics hub, driving forward its digital and economic transformation.
