Malaysia Tourism Board Launches 2025 Campaign to Boost Saudi Visitor Numbers.

by: TN Media News Jeddah, Saudi Arabia: The Malaysia Tourism Board has launched a new promotional campaign in Saudi Arabia from May 4–8, 2025, aiming to strengthen ties with the Kingdom’s travel sector and boost tourism ahead of the “Visit Malaysia 2026” initiative.

Led by Malaysia’s Minister of Tourism, Arts and Culture, Dato’ Seri Tiong King Sing, the campaign includes 37 Malaysian tourism industry representatives and spans both Riyadh and Jeddah. It promotes tailored travel experiences for Saudi tourists, including family vacations, luxury getaways, and adventure tourism.

The initiative features business meetings, seminars, and networking sessions with local stakeholders, showcasing Malaysia’s attractions—from tropical rainforests and pristine beaches to rich cultural heritage and cuisine.

In 2024, Malaysia welcomed 68,382 Saudi visitors, a 23.7% increase from the previous year, driven by improved air connectivity with 41 weekly flights from Jeddah and Medina to Kuala Lumpur. The campaign is expected to further solidify Malaysia’s position as a top travel destination for Saudi tourists.
