Riyadh, Saudi Arabia: Majid Al Futtaim has launched the first standalone Poltrona Frau store in Saudi Arabia, located at Centria Mall in Riyadh. This marks the Italian luxury furniture brand’s third GCC outlet and a significant step in its Middle East expansion.
Spanning 320 sqm, the flagship store blends curated lifestyle displays with a material library for custom interiors. Designed by AMDL CIRCLE under architect Michele De Lucchi, the space reflects the warmth of a contemporary home through artisanal detail and rich textures.
Majid Al Futtaim Lifestyle CEO Fahed Ghanim noted the store aligns with Saudi Arabia’s rising demand for premium living, reinforcing the brand’s regional omnichannel growth strategy. Poltrona Frau CEO Nicola Coropulis added that Riyadh’s opening strengthens the brand’s position in a market that values timeless elegance and craftsmanship.
The store showcases iconic pieces such as the 1919 armchair, Archibald sofa, and new designs including the Blisscape Sofa and Mallorca Rug. A live demonstration by a Poltrona Frau artisan marked the opening, celebrating the brand’s century-long legacy of handcraftsmanship.
This expansion underscores Poltrona Frau’s commitment to Saudi Arabia’s evolving luxury lifestyle market and strengthens its presence across high-end residential and commercial sectors in the region.
