RIYADH, SAUDI ARABIA The second edition of World With Purpose KSA 2025 opened in Riyadh, uniting over 150 local and international family business leaders under the theme “The Purpose Legacy – Where family businesses meet to write the future.” The two-day summit highlights the critical role family enterprises play in driving sustainable economic development in line with Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030.
Held at Bab Samhan in Diriyah, the invitation-only event is organised by GHAYA and endorsed by the National Center for Family Business, whose CEO, Dr. Ayth Almubarak, delivered the keynote address emphasizing family businesses as pillars of resilience and long-term prosperity.
Key themes explored include AI and technology, intergenerational transitions, purpose-led leadership, education, and regional investment. Global voices such as Bruno Roche, Stacey Lawson, and İsmail Tekin contributed to vibrant discussions on future-proofing family businesses and fostering global prosperity.
Notable attendees included HH Princess Noura bint Faisal Al Saud, who highlighted fashion’s economic and cultural power, and Prof. De Kai, who urged thoughtful alignment of AI with human values.
GHAYA founder Roberta Calarese described the summit as “a movement for legacy-driven growth,” reinforcing family businesses as anchors of economic and societal stability.
The summit continues with a Women With Purpose track and sessions on real estate innovation, climate-conscious growth, and empowering female leaders, further solidifying Saudi Arabia’s leadership in shaping a purpose-led global economy.
