TN Media News Pakistan: The China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) Business Symposium was successfully held in Beijing, co-organized by the All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce (ACFIC) and the Chamber of Commerce for High Technology and Equipment Industry. The high-profile event was hosted by Mr. Zhang Hongchao, Deputy Secretary General of ACFIC, and brought together leading business figures, policymakers, and technology experts from both China and Pakistan.
Mr. Khalid Taimur Akram, Director (Eurasian Region) of Precise Development (HK) Limited, served as the Chief Guest. In his keynote address, he emphasized the pivotal role of the private sector in advancing the CPEC initiative and fostering sustainable economic growth between the two nations. His remarks underscored the significance of enhanced bilateral collaboration in infrastructure, energy, trade, and high-tech industries.
Prominent Chinese companies—including Guangdong Zhongshen Industrial Development, Jiangsu Cimer Information Security, Wuhan Tianmou Photoelectric Technology, and Changsha Jingjia Microelectronics—praised Pakistan’s resilience and its armed forces. ACFIC representatives expressed their pride in the close China-Pakistan partnership, announcing China’s commitment to equip Pakistan with next-generation JF-20 fighter aircraft, with ongoing discussions to supply JF-35 jets in the future.
In a symbolic gesture of solidarity, Chinese participants presented models of JF-10 and JF-20 aircraft to Mr. Akram, reflecting the Chinese aviation industry’s respect for Pakistan’s defense capabilities.
