Dr. Samir Abbas Hospital Launches Nationwide Campaign to Raise Awareness on Delayed Childbearing.

RIYADH, Saudi Arabia: Dr. Samir Abbas Hospital & Centers, in partnership with King Saud bin Abdulaziz University for Health Sciences and the Al-Amal Fertility Health Society, will launch a Kingdom-wide awareness campaign titled Delayed Childbearing… Spreading Hope and Breaking the Silence” from May 28 to 30, 2025.

Starting in Riyadh, Jeddah, and Dammam, and expanding to public spaces and malls across Saudi Arabia, the campaign aims to address growing concerns around delayed childbearing among young couples, often driven by psychological, social, or health-related factors.

As part of its corporate social responsibility, the hospital is mobilizing medical student volunteers and a multidisciplinary team to educate the public, dispel myths about infertility, and emphasize the importance of early diagnosis and intervention.

Dr. Samir Abbas noted the positive shift in societal attitudes toward male infertility and highlighted technological advances that make treatment more accessible. Dr. Ahmed Al-Omari, CEO, stressed the need for awareness among people aged 20โ€“45, pointing out that many couples seek help only after years of marriage.

The campaign will include educational booths, specialist consultations, and interactive media content, aiming to position fertility health as a public priority and offer hope to couples across the Kingdom.ย
