by: Noor UL Hassan TN Media News Jeddah: In light of the investment opportunities being offered by the Government of Pakistan, a key meeting of the Core Committee of the Pakistan Investors Forum was held. The meeting was chaired by Chaudhry Azhar Warraich, Chairman of the Core Committee.
The session was attended by Forum President Chaudhry Shafqat Mahmood, General Secretary Sardar Waqas Inayat, and other committee members. During the meeting, a detailed briefing was given on the investment opportunities introduced by the Government of Pakistan, followed by a discussion on the Forum’s future strategy.
Finance Secretary Ali Khurshid Malik, Information Secretary Shafiq Afkaar, senior member Faisal Tahir Khan, Raja Muhammad Bashir, Raja Muhammad Riaz, Ghulam Mustafa Gujar, Fida Hussain Khokhar, Fazal Riaz, and other members also participated. The participants raised questions regarding investment in Pakistan and offered valuable suggestions.
The Pakistan Investors Forum announced that it will soon send a delegation to Pakistan to evaluate local investment opportunities. The delegation will also meet with senior government officials to facilitate and encourage Pakistani investors based in Saudi Arabia to invest in their homeland
