Chasing Bangladesh’s challenging total of 196, Pakistan overcame an early setback with opener Sahibzada Farhan dismissed in the first over. However, a powerful 92-run stand between Mohammad Haris and Saim Ayub turned the tide. Haris stole the show with a blistering maiden T20I century, scoring an unbeaten 107 off 46 balls, guiding Pakistan to victory in just 17.1 overs.
Earlier, Bangladesh got off to a flying start after opting to bat, with openers Tanzid Hasan and Parvez Hossain Emon putting on 100 runs in 11 overs. Emon struck a quickfire 66, while Tanzid added 42. Despite losing momentum in the latter stages, Bangladesh posted a strong 196-6 – their highest T20I total against Pakistan.
