By: Syed Mussarat Khalil, Jeddah: The soft launch ceremony of “Made in Pakistan” Exhibition and Business Forum held yesterday at Karamna Yacht Restaurant, North Obhur, Jeddah marking the beginning of a new era in promoting Pakistani products and fostering international trade.
This event was a huge success, with a large number of Saudi and ethnic media persons in attendance. The media personnel were excited to learn about the upcoming event, which aims to showcase the best of Pakistani products and services. They were briefed about the event’s objectives, which include promoting Pakistani industries, fostering international trade, and creating long lasting business relationship.
Speaking to the media at the ceremony, Mr. Khalid Majid, Consul General of Pakistan, Jeddah said, “The ‘Made in Pakistan’ Exhibition and Business Forum is a landmark initof Ministry of Commerce, Government of Pakistan that will help promote Pakistani products and services globally. We believe that this platform will not only showcase the best of Pakistan but also provide a unique opportunity for businesses to connect, collaborate, and thrive.”
While briefing the participants, Trade and Investment Counsellor, Ms. Sadia Khan shared that the exhibition and business forum will feature a wide range of Pakistani product including textiles, light engineering goods, sports goods and sportswear, medical and surgical apparatus, and food products. The event will also provide a platform for Pakistani businesses to connect with international buyers, investors, and traders, and to explore new trade and investment opportunities in Saudi market.
The “Made in Pakistan” Exhibition and Business Forum is scheduled to take place from 5th February, 2025 to 7th February, 2025 at Jeddah International Exhibition & Culture Center in Jeddah. The event is expected to attract large number of visitors and participants, and will provide a unique opportunity for Pakistani businesses to establish their footprints in Saudi market.
